Wednesday, July 7, Vacation day #9: Overlooked Falls

"Overlooked Falls was the name of this falls, and considering all the incredible falls in the area, I could see why it was called that. It was small and had no particularly exciting features. But we enjoyed seeing it, it was pretty in a laid-back way, and we enjoyed the hike.

The Detroit image is another mural, decrepitating, from Warren Street.

I would love to try fishing there...it looks totally wonderful. Of course, as hot as it is, any water looks tempting to me right now.

There were a lot of fisherman around the area--very few fisherwomen, though.

Did you see anyone catch anything? It looks the perfect place...

I did see a couple people hauling in fish, but only at a distance, so I can't tell you much about them.

There was miles of unoccupied stream and river! Seemed like a fisherman's paradise.
