Postcard from DeWitt: Ryder Park Again

1)Getting ready for theme-day December 1st: footbridge over the old Erie Canal.
2)Aqueduct over the Erie Canal again.
3)The Butterfly house all prepared for winter with its netting rolled
back so the snow won't sag and tear it. All the butterflies are gone
for now. Too bad.

We will be leaving later to drive more than 400 miles back to Detroit.

I almost forgot about theme day. I'll have to find my bridge. I really like that first photo.

I posted a photo of deer today, at least my version. The only one's I could get. And, some snow on my personal blog.

Thanks! I am getting way behind on my commenting because of all my traveling--thanks for stopping in anyway!

Shame about the butterflies being gone, are their cocoons there?

I don't know if there are cocoons there, or eggs, or if they just buy new ones every spring. I didn't SEE any cocoons, but I didn't really look either.
