At the Belle Isle Aquarium and Pixel Perfect Award

I won the Pixel Perfect Award today, see below!

The Aquarium at Belle Isle in Detroit WAS the oldest still active aquarium in the country--but now it is closed. The building still stands and there are rumors it may reopen--I hope so. This is an archive photo. I have been otherwise engaged today, an ironic situation when I just won an award.

Yup, I won an award today from Jacob and Lois! See below for more details:

This prestigious award is given to a photo blogger who exhibits exceptional photographic skills in terms of artistic creativity, composition, sharpness and exposure. It is awarded by Jacob and Lois at Ocala Daily Photo. I am DEEPLY honored to receive this wonderful award. Jacob ad Lois have a number of lovely blogs of their area in Florida and one of Paree! I hope you will visit them and check them out! THANK YOU JACOB and LOIS!!

Thanks so much Jacob and Marie for all your kindness. (Jacob, Marie translated two of my poems into French!)

I do so really appreciate your kindness. I am very honored.
