"Tall Food" and Flowers

Our local larger grocery store was nothing special, but it has been
under construction and expanding and attempting to be as good as
Wegman's has been for years. It's getting fancier and more
attractive, but is still lacking in essential and useful things I can
purchase at the Village Market, our corner store.

I love David Sedaris, but I think I've offended people by saying me
makes me cry--he does--any good book makes me cry. Of course, this is
not the "tall food" he riffs about, but made me think of him. This is
inside Krogers, which still has a long ways to go to match Wegman's in
variety.

Outside Krogers are lovely displays of FALL FLOWERS! AK!

The final picture is the shopping I did in my own garden--more squash
than we can eat--every day.

I Love the writings of Dave Sedaris too. Have you read his latest? When you are engulfed by flames? So funny.

The sunflower photo is as glorious as a Georgia O'Keeffe painting.

Thanks so much Goda and V.

I have not read the latest David Sedaris. I need to put it on my wish list, was it good? I guess you liked it.

Thanks so much, V.
