Again, the lonesome shore

Sorry, I just can't resist taking this same shot over and over--it speaks to me of loneliness.

I have to have the Fellowship application done by the 26th, so I am ultra, uber-busy. Forgive delays in responding.

We're having a bit of a warm spell and some of the ice has melted.

Très mélancolique, but very beautiful!

This photo has so much to say. It makes one long for the warmer days, but yet appreciate the quite of the cold. Good luck with your application.

Thanks Marie and Mason!!! :-D

We're having a snowstorm--I've been out shoveling but haven't taken any pictures.

This shot kind of gives me hope.

Really? What kind of hope? Hope for what? That spring might come and you can come back to Harbor springs?

Delicious photo, Mary! A very lonely lifeguard station. Looks almost arctic!

You would laugh if you clicked on the label 'strip pit' in either one of my blogs...there is certain scenes I take over and over.

It is the changing light...it is the mood I am in when there...and it don't hurt anything...so why not.

I don't think it's sad - just waiting for warmer days.

Hope your application is successful - you deserve it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence--BUT--I'm applying in poetry--have you read any of my poetry? (Do you like poetry?)

such a great way to view the beach! Not your average surf shot. I love it.
