Zamboni at Pier Park

Pier Park has just a tiny little skating rink and a HUGE Zamboni to groom it with. This picture was taken just as the dawn-light was reaching the houses, but hadn't made it to the ground yet.

My husband had surgery Monday and things have been a bit difficult the last few days. I will catch up when I can.

Here is a new art piece done in pigment markers on watercolor paper. Click to view larger.

Dear Mary, I was sorry to read that your husband had had health problems. I hope he is better now and things will become smoother for you and him.

What or who is Zamboni. In Montpellier we have a rather famous author named Zamponi :-))

We spent the night in the emergency room last night, after surgery yesterday, but he's doing better now. Thanks. :-D

The Zamboni is the ice groomer for the skating rink, the machien you see int he picture--it is a kind of nice name for the machine.

I really like the photo--the lighting is terrific! And I really like your new art piece! Reminds of some critters that lived in our back yard!

And I hope that your husband's surgery was successful in every way and that he's already well on the road to recovery!
