A Postcard from Slovenia; Looking Toward Croatia

I thought I'd send a postcard from our summer trip to Slovenia. We
stood on the Slovenian border near Piran and looked toward Croatia. I
wanted to go, but Biker Buddy was worried. He was afraid of violence.
AK! There wasn't any violence. I was really disappointed.

Back at home, we are having a "wintry mix," but is supposed to turn to
all rain later and will probably melt all our snow. I wish you
sunshine on a cloudy day. Warmth in your heart if not in the air.

Hello,

First of all - really lovely blog! I am writing to you because Joy of Norwich Daily Photo said you will be able to help. How ? Would you be interested to prepare a post with photos and tell how you are celebrating St. Valentines day in Australia? We would upload your post on the Young Voices website: ww.youngvoicesproject.org.uk
Also we will create a link to your photo blog from our web.

Imagine all the wonderful St. Valentines day stories from all the world we could share with each other!

Hope to hear from you soon and hope you will join!

Please visit Young Voices.

Croatia looks very beautiful. I would have liked to have seen it. It's islands are supposed to be a premier vacation spot. Lovely.

Thanks so much Erin and Rosita!

I appreciate the invitation to write about valentine's day and would be happy to do that as long as you still want me to once I tell you that I am NOT young and do not live in Australia. I live in Detroit, Michigan, USA.

Oh, people do go on Holiday there! But BB has a LONG memory. And he holds on like a bull dogs to old fears, sometimes.

It is lovely there. From what I could see and what I've heard.
