Elmwood and Mt Elliot Cemeteries

1)A lane through Elmwood Cemetery
2)A chapel in the cemetery
3)Elmwood Pond
4)A cyclone fence that runs between Mt. Elliot Cemetery and Elmwood
Cemetery. The two cemeteries are side by side. What is the purpose
of the fence? To keep the dead from mingling, or their bereaved
relative? It's even got barbed wire on top. HUH?

Hi Mary... thanks for the New Year wishes! Many blessings to you for this fresh new year!

Just so you know, your photos of Elmwood Cemetery/Mt. Elliot Cemetery, my new husband and I decided that was where our professional bridal photos should be shot.

Last November, 3 months after our big day, we headed to Detroit (my home turf) for the shoot, and the leaves were just perfect and amazing.

The photos are absolutely breathtaking. Once I get the CD from our photographer, I will post some in a blog.
