Renaissance Festival: Hawking Wares

All throughout the Renaissance Festival, people were hawking their wares. It was fun to hear them calling.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate these portraits, Mary...the photos are simply outstanding in every respect. Colors, sharpness, exposure - it's all right on target!

Wanted also to let you know I gave the link to your blog to a friend of mine who lived in Detroit for years and whose son is an architect there now...he and Rabbi Sherwin Wine started the Society of Humanistic Judaism there and he served as president of that group for five years.

I told him I thought he would really enjoy your blog!

I love all the festivals that happen in autumn. This looks like an especially fun one.

I agree with Jacob. You have a great sense of "portraying" if that makes any sense in English :-))

Some strange types around, at these Festivals: they look quite real! I hope they tried to fake some Old English...

Some of them did! (Not all).

Thank you! :-D
