Road Show: One for Jacob, Harbor Springs, Michigan

Jacob--at Ocala Daily--likes stairways--and I like them too. This one is in downtown Harbor Springs. I had a great time in Harbor Springs--a lovely town--but am very glad to be home--I'm trying desperately to get caught UP! AK! I'm going to be slow catching up because I have out of town company and more coming. My daughters are here from upstate NY and my son't girlfriend is arriving from Clarkston for his homecoming dance.

One of my favorite spots in town.

Did they paint this house with free sample cans of paint? Lovely spot, nice stairway.

Thanks so much B and VP--We've got out of town company--my daughters from upstate NY, so I am running behind again.

Wow, nice photo! As Bibi said, very cheerful.

I looked up the google map of Harbor Springs - the satellite view makes the deep water there look scary!

Thanks, Mary. I do like stairs, and I do like colors. This could be a photo from Cedar Key! And you've brightened my evening!

Can you imagine anyone feeling free enough to paint their outdoor stairway like this where we live? The conservatism would freeze them in their tracks, I'm afraid. But I love it so much....

it's happy and cheery and pleasing--to me--but V, you're right, unlikely to happen here!

I want to live somewhere where it WOULD happen.
