The Scarab Club
I am taking a poetry class at the Scarab Club from Vermont College graduate Dawn McDuffie. This piece of art is above the sign-in podium in the entryway of the Scarab Club. I plan to say more about this in future posts. My recent good news about poetry is that I just got nominated for a pushcart prize. (Yay!)

Great shot! Congrats on the nomination for the poem.
Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog. Glad you like cranberries too! I'm a little bias though, after having hand-picked wild cranberries for the past couple of years - I like them better than the Ocean Spray ones in the store.
What a great carving(?) ... and congrats on the prize. Your pics of the mill/metropark yesterday were wonderful too ... and although I know Wolcott isn't a cider mill, it made me crave cider (which we can't get over here).
Thanks North Bay and R&R!
I like wild cranberries better too! But I can';t get them here, so I am out of luck.
I can't get really good hand-pressed unfiltered unpasteurized cider here either. Darn!
WOW that photograph of a sculpture looks like a painting ... congrats also :)
Thanks so much, anonymous! :-D On both counts.
Wow!! This is very cool. I look forward to hearing more about the Scarab Club.
