Wolcott Mill

Wolcott Mill is one of our many wonderful metroparks. There is a lovely historical Mill, the mill museum, re-enactments, and hiking trails. The man in the second picture was a civil war doctor in his re-enactment persona. I, unfortunately, neglected to get his name--if anyone knows what it is, let me know. The mill creek is where yesterday's IMAGIK picture was taken.

Isn't the man your husband?

Le moulin et les photos sont très beaux, très bucoliques et charmants.

Wonderful series of photos! The 2nd photo is just fantastic composition. You wouldn't even think you were still in Detroit.

Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.

Beautiful place and you did some great photographing too. Is it in Detroit?

Great photos, Mary! The second photo is my favorite. Lovely setting.

Thanks so much Marie, North Bay, and Dick for you kind comments.

The white-haired man in the 4th photo is Biker Buddy, my husband. He is on the trail where we walked.

The brown-haired man in the second photo is one of the re-enacters and was not known to me.

The Detroit (Clinton-Huron) Metroparks are actually not within the Detroit city limits, but all around the perimeter of the city.

I like the last image, although the second looks like it's from a travel brochure!

Thanks, Anonymous. I like the last one best 'cause my sweetie is in it--and we love walking.
