excited. It's the first one this school year for him, and he was
beginning to despair. He's off to a friend's house already, by 7:30
in the morning. He's never that eager leaving for school!
Last week we had snow, and quite a bit of it, but not enough for a
snow day. Then it rained. A LOT! Then it froze (I never got any
pictures becase we weere at a funeral etc), and then at 4 PM last
night, it started snowing and snowed all night. The house that shows
twice is our neighbors' across the street.

Lots of snow days for school bus drivers in the Toronto area this year. But the schools tend to remain open for the kids who do make it to school -- it's sort of like a "daycare day" really.
Wow, the house across the street transformed that much overnight! The poppies went 'POP' and woke me this morning ;)
Wait 5 mins, indeed! It's hard to believe it was the first snow day, that with all the snow you've had this year.
great snow, we had some this morning. For us even just a dusting is a big deal.
