Along the Black River

This is near Sarnia, about an hour north of Detroit and near the
Canadian Border. Yesterday, we took a very pleasant spring walk along
a trail that follows the river, after riding up on our motorcycles.
Three views of the river, raccoon tracks, bloodroot.

Looks like everything is turning green. I like the buds on the trees on the top photo. Can people canoe down the river?

I've seen lots of people fishing but no one canoeing, dunno why. Looks like you could. I used to own a canoe (in fact, I've had several), but no more.

Thanks! :-D

Beautiful photos, it looks like a beautiful and serene place to visit

It was wonderful, very peaceful, and other than the fishermen (and women and children), very few other people.
