Inside the Belle Isle Conservatory where they have a large collection orchids, Outside at Metrobeach where the ice fisherman are at work catching fish.
The conservatory is indeed a wonderful place to go. It amazes me how simple it is to go from the cold winter into the hot, humid tropics. In fact, it never ceases to amaze me. What devotion the generations of supporters have shown!
Love that first shot...the second makes me cold just looking at it.
Mary, I don't think I every congratulated you on your new grandson! It just hit me...well, he is not so new now. But when you told me he was...I meant to send you an email and it totally slipped my mind.
Hope all is well with him and the rest of your loved ones.
Talk about a contrast! I think I'll stay inside. I can look at and photograph things of beauty instead of freezing my rear end off to catch some slippery, slimy fish which I will have to clean in order to eat...if I dare even eat it because of all the mercury in the environment!
Hi, Mary! I heard you have a new grandson! That's very exciting and I'm happy for you.
We welcomed our first great-grandson last year and have another one coming in March. I don't know how that's possible seeing as how young I am. Scary.
