Artist and model at the DIA

Artist and model at the DIA, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. Click image to view larger. Unfortunately, once again, I did not get the names of the artist or model. If anyone knows who they are, let me know. The DIA, or Detroit Institute of Arts, is right across the street from The Scarab Club. It has wonderful art in its collections, but is currently closed for renovations. This picture is from my archives.

I don't know whether the painting will be good and beautiful, but the model is very handsome. I would become a painter just to be able to paint models like him :-))

LOL! You're a riot, Marie! (But I agree!) I thought the painting was getting off to a good start.
