I'd love to see this in person. At first glance, I thought it was a computer rendition.

Thanks, Fenix. It's a 100% straight photograph. And very cool to see both inside and out.

The clouds match the colors of the building!!...I am not sure that the refurbishing is reviving the downtown area...Is it? The downtown area was pretty dead when I lived there....Henry Ford Hospital and Detroit Receiving were pretty much all I saw but the river fests I LOVED.

Not just modern - futuristic!

Thanks Neva and Erin! :-D

I think the downtown area is slowly reviving. Very slowly.

I we took a walk along the Riverwalk and the gentrification seems to be spreading.

Fantastic. Love it. This is possibly the most imaginative picture that I've seen of the Ren Cen. Love the people mover track and walkway in the foreground.

Cheers!

Mary, I am responsible for the digital layout for an upcoming skating program held at the Onyx Skating Rink north of Detroit. The theme of this year's spring program is "Detroit Rocks". The proceeds of the skating event and program sales go back to the skating club and rink maintenance, so generates no profit. I am curious if we could use your Detroit Zoo Water Tower photo in the program (and perhaps a few other photos from your collection)within the printed program. We can give you photo credit (the words you want us to use verbatim) but we have no budget for royalty. Please let me know at kevsharonz@sbcglobal.net
THANK YOU for your consideration (You have great photos, and your approval will save me a trip to the zoo, etc. to get the pics myself : )
