The Lost Bridges of Nashua Creek II

Here's another set of bridges of Nashua Creek on Belle Isle in the
heart of Detroit. Blogger has unfortunately changed the way pictures are handled so if you want to see any of these larger without downloading them, click here: 1, 2, 3, 4. Not all change is for the good and I am VERY upset with blogger about this change. It encourages people stealing other people's photos even unintentionally and makes it much harder for the blogger. Multiple extra steps!

I noticed this bevaiour in blogger - I was beginning to think it was just with photos they'd put in bp2 but these seem to be lodged in bp1 - probably it is only a glitch rather than a policy change.
Time will tell - I notice the "other" option in comments is now "Nickname"

You are like me and got a jump on the bridge December 1st theme day. I especially like yesterday's photo with the leaves in the foreground and the bridge in the background.

Thanks Hyde and Denton!

I tried using the nickname but it doesn't link to you so what good is that. I wouldn't mind a nickname option that didn't post my whole name if it linked to me.

I hope it's a glitch, but I worry it's not. Sometimes, fairly often, they seem to change things for the worse.

I took so many bridge ones because maybe I was afraid I wouldn't get any.

You are an early bird for theme day!

This is a beautiful series on bridges. I'm looking forward to seeing the one you use tomorrow.

You are a bit early but you are certainly the champion, Mary!

I can see the frozen leaf under/in the frozen water!

I'm also NOT happy about what makes a cpoyright free image. Maybe time to put intials on all photographs ... how ugly!

I love that first bridge with the red color.

I noticed that too, but you can open the picture without downloading it. I prefer the old way. Nice bridge photos.

Of those you posted I like the Japanese style red bridge.

Thanks so much Kate, Jilly, Marie, North Bay, Anonymous, lv2, Ann, Kerri, Dick and Old Man Lincoln for all your kind comments.

This was NOT my theme-day photo set, Marie etc, those are on theme-day, I was was posting my "Outtakes," which are sometimes hard to choose.

I definitely think the old way was more user friendly!!!!

I am concerned about copyright issues and ugly initials, too, Anonymous! ! :-(
