Great detail! It looks pretty scary to me.
Scary looking kid.
I too think it looks scary. Do you know what the author wants to "say"?
I do NOT know for sure, but you can write him and ask him. My GUESS is that he is "talking about" the differences and similarities between white children and black ones. I do not know what though.
