After visiting the Ford Estate, Fair Lane, we stopped by the Ford Museum. This display is from the early aviation section and shows Wilbur and Orville Wright at Kitty Hawk with their first
flight.

Great photos, Mary...you really capture the essence of the place...sigh, another item for the "bucket list"!
Real aviation history, nice to see.
What is this famous "bucket list" Jacob? Thanks! :-D
Thanks, Steffe!
You haven't seen the movie, "The Bucket List"?
The Bucket List contains all the things you want to do before you die...
So, when I see all the wonderful places that I haven't visited on the various photo blogs, I have to write them on my to-do list before I kick the bucket!
Nice shots, I like those historical things.
Yes,these photos are really great. I like the light in them.
No, Jacob, I missed that movie, was the movie good, or just the idea?
Thanks Dick! :-D
Thanks, Marie! :-D
In my humble opinion, Mary, it was a terrific movie. Stars Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, who are both suffering from cancer. Nicholson is wealthy, Freeman is solidly middle-class, but worked all of his life to attain that status, and he's less likely to take risks.
Nicholson has a Bucket List and suggests that Freeman put one together and they'll tour the world and do all the things they want to do before they die.
Which they do and which leads to some funny and crazy experiences.
I shan't tell you the ending, but I'd highly recommend it.
Thanks, Jacob.
It sounds good.
Is it a current move? I never know what's going on in the world? Or one I should get from the library? or?
Hi Mary...
No, it's not current. It was made and released in 2007 - near the end of the year, I believe.
Here's a link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0825232/
You're gonna like it! I hope!
Hi Mary -
We have left an award for you at The Villages Daily Photo (http://thevillagesdailyphoto.blogspot.com), which you can pick up your leisure.
Have a great day!
Thanks, Jacob, for the info on the movie--I'll have to check it out. And thanks in advance for the award--I'll have to check that out, too.
I've just had several somewhat traumatic things, so having something good will be a pleasant change. :-)
