Transitions

Our local garden store is ambivalent about the season. Is it late summer, fall or winter? Which holiday are we celebrating? What you can't see here are all the pumpkins and gourds.

Difficult to say from what we can see, but I like the place anyway.

Thanks so much, VP and ASTA! I thought the store looked a bit schizophrenic! But it is very pretty and the people there are friendly.

I think I've seen this shop before - you can walk there, right, and it sells all kinds of good things and you love it and I can see why - or I think I can - 'cause there are all sorts of treasures hidden in its confines! Right?

You have a good memory, Jacob--I can and do walk there, though I didn't this day. I was buying 20 pound bags of bird seed--too far to carry them. It is FULL of delights!!!

You can just take your pick on which season you want to celebrate!

I want to celebrate them ALL!

Not just the stores here are schizophrenic, Mary. Today I was out and about and noticed several homes with Halloween decorations, a few with a harvest theme and many, many gearing up for Christmas. Sheesh! It's spring, isn't it? :)

The house next door has pumpkins out, the one across the street had flowers, and one next to that is all lit up for Christmas! I knwo exactly what you mean!
