Seven Lakes State Park revisted, late November
BB and I went to Seven Lakes State Park, just North of Detroit. It was barren of leaves, flowers, and very quiet. The only thing we saw were lots of hunter orange crawling through the woods.
We were there not long ago and the changes are startling. These are from the last trip:

BB is having surgery today, and I will be with him at the hospital, so I will not be commenting, probably.

I like!
Great post, the difference is impressive.
I hope everything will be fine with BB.
Quite a 'feel' to the first shot. Very earthy and still. Anticipating winter, no doubt.
Happy December and the best to BB.
I hope you were wearing hunter orange, too! Wouldn't be nice if those who were wearing hunter orange thought you were a deer and not a dear!
Our thoughts are with BB. Please extend our best wishes to him!
Thank you all so much! BB is in the couch in his PJs--says he feels like he's been kicked in the stomach, BUT he is doing quite well. The pain meds help.
THANKS :-D
No driving or lifting for a week. Or drinking!
We'd forgotten out hunter orange so we didn;t stay too long.
Hunter orange is very scary! Please be careful!
We will certainly try to be careful.
BB just had surgery, so we won't be out and about much for a while.
I highly recommend you do wear hunter orange in the woods this time of year.
Sorry to hear of BB's surgery. Hope he feels better fast!
When we do get to go out again, we expect to be MUCH more careful!!!
THANKS> BB thanks you too--sitting here ont he couch with icepacks on his belly! :-D
