Shores golf course and Red bridge at Nashua Creek

The largest Elm in Michigan is supposed to be on this golf course, but since it is a fenced members-only sort of thing, I couldn't get on to see it--this may or may not be the one. We started out on a walk in the woods along Nashua Creek on Belle Isle in Detroit, but the bus-sceebies were so bad we beat a hasty retreat and walked along the windswept shore instead.

Errrrm, guessing bus-sceebies are things that bite? The Elm is beautiful whether the largest or not :)

I love the photo of the bridge. I can see it's reflection in the water. Wish you had gotten a photo of that elm...maybe another time.

Peaceful. Always peaceful. Means a lot in these troubled times. Trees, water, bridges, nature, skies, calm. Thank you Mary.

Bus-sceegies are what certain small children and their doting parents call mosquitoes!

Chris, I can't get in--I took this over the fence from the other side--you have to be a member to get in. So there will be no picture of the "genuine" largest elm unless this might be it--might be?

Thank you, Viking. I seek out peace.
