I've never been inside. I go to the local branch and take out many books, but I've never been inside this one. I hate to admit that and I hope to rectify it soon. But we were on another mission, and didn't have time, as has always been the case when we were there.

Beautiful photos. Our library is nothing like that. You'll have to be sure and share photos from inside (if possible) when you get a chance to go.
If it weren't for the red columns and magnificent mosaics, it'd look like a fortress. But as it is, it's fantastic, and so are the artworks!
Maybe it is best not to go inside...you might get hooked and no other one do! We have a small local library, and I got started going to the one in the next county, and now I very seldom go here. The one in the next county has so much more to offer.
I do want to go sometime, but it is not near home and we are always busy doing something else when we are there. I LOVE libraries.
I love libraries! They are full of so many possibilities. There's never enough time.
I like the sculpture, but not sure why she's falling backward...
I can't shed any light on that, Jacob!!! THANKS for stopping by!
I love libraries and this one is gorgeous - looks like something out of the 1930's.
It was built in 1921. THANKS! :-D
