Mini-golf Headquarters at Metrobeach

Lighthouses everywhere!!!

The second picture is a painting I made of THIS SAME LIGHTHOUSE (above) from Metrobeach--before it was painted grey (and from a different angle). Now I will have to redo it.

Neither of these are real lighthouses, but everywhere around here, they have these fake ones.

Here are two new super-quick sketches done with Crayola marker and brushed with water:

The sketches are incredible. I love the painting of the lighthouse and the way you captured the reflection in the water. Lighthouses have such an interesting history.

I've often wondered why so many miniature golf places feature lighthouses...

The painting is better than the real thing! Fantastic reflections!

No, don't re-do it - it's perfect as is. If someone paints graffiti on the lighthouse, you'll have to re-do it again.

Do these lighthouses work? Still in use?

WOW! Thank you all for your really ind comments.

We do have several working lighthouses around the area and some of the fake ones like these have lights inside--but not real lighthouse lights.
