Wedding at the DIA

I was not involved, I was just an innocent bystander, LOL! I love seeing wedding by accident like that--and it was a perfect day.

The last pictures is some of my current artwork in progress.

The gown is so beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen a headpiece like that before. The bride seems happy. Love the artwork.

Was it a real wedding or a bridal gown show? There is no bridegroom. Is that gown intended for muslim women?

I like your art too :-))

Thank you, all! There was a groom, but he was talking on the cell phone so I edited him out. This was BEFORE the wedding, as they were getting ready.

I do not know her religious background.

I mentioned that because she is obviously wearing something that looks like a muslim veil :-))) I have never seen a Christian girl hiding her hair that way. :-)))

They were all complected as if possibly Muslims.

Nice wedding photos, Mary. And she's a beautiful girl. The dress, too!

But, again, I'm most interested in your artwork which I find just fascinating.

You are an artiste!

Looks like a muslim wedding and the bride is beautiful.
All these women need to get rid off the head gear and let their hair cascade, like in the bottom photo. I guess the men would be threatened.

Love the shot of the bride with the stair balusters running diagonally across the image. Very nice.

It was also a pleasure to see Wayne State looking healthy. I took some classes there back in the '60s.

Cheers!

The bride is very beautiful and your candid photos are wonderful. I am intriqued by your artwork at the end, especially the last picture. Very interesting.
