The second pictures is a mini-ice palace in the gardens of the conservatory with a hose is running and creating this ice sculpture.

The orchid is so beautiful. Makes me want summer so bad. The ice sculpture is beautiful as well with the reflection in the water. Your photos are wonderful.
Thanks, Pamela! ;_D I appreciate your kindness.
You are indeed a great photographer!!
Both pics are great.

Thanks so much, Gabi! :-D How sweet of you!
Posso estar enganado mas esta flor me parece ser iris germanica.
Belo registro.
It does look a little like an iris, but it is an orchid. Orchis, actually.
Oh, that blossom is breathtaking!
THANK YOU, ROSE!!! :-D
Love the ice sculpture - all this in the middle of Detroit?
it is a riot! I've really been enjoying this series at the conservatory. I hope there are hundreds more photos. Now the ice: that reflection is outstanding. How contradictory: ice amongst warm blooms!
All this in the MIDDLE of Detroit, quite literally!
Thanks, I did take more flower shots, I guess I should post more of them!!
